Every major spiritual tradition on Earth - from Vedic India, to Egyptian mystery schools, to early Gnostic Christianity - points to the same root claim: consciousness is primary. Matter is secondary. You are not a body that has consciousness. You are consciousness, temporarily experiencing a body.
This page compiles what's been documented, declassified, or preserved in ancient text - with sources attached. Where something is a belief system rather than a verified fact, it's labeled that way. No pretending speculation is proof. No pretending proof is speculation. Just the line, held clearly, the whole way through.
"The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence."
- Nikola TeslaThe Etheric Library
Akasha is Sanskrit for "sky," "space," or "ether" - the field ancient Vedic philosophy describes as the substance from which all elements arise. Not empty space - space that holds. The idea that all thought, action, and intent is recorded somewhere appears under different names across unconnected traditions: the Book of Life (Hebrew), the Cosmic Mind (Plato), the Scroll of Life (Zoroastrianism).
Vedic Source: Rig Veda (c. 1500โ1200 BCE) and the Taittiriya Upanishad describe Akasha as the field preceding physical matter.
Rudolf Steiner (1861โ1925), philosopher and founder of Anthroposophy, documented what he called the "Akashic Chronicle" through trained perception, published as Cosmic Memory. Edgar Cayce (1877โ1945) gave over 14,000 documented trance readings - many medical diagnoses verified by physicians of the time, despite Cayce having no medical training.
Primary Sources: Steiner, R. Cosmic Memory, Rudolf Steiner Press archives. Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.), Virginia Beach - 14,306 documented Cayce readings, publicly archived.
Physicist Ervin Laszlo proposed the quantum vacuum functions as a cosmic information field - the "Akashic Field." Physicist David Bohm (Birkbeck College, London) proposed the Implicate Order - physical reality as the unfolding of a deeper informational field. Both are real, peer-engaged physics theories - not proof of the ancient claim, but a genuine modern echo of it.

Every action across every lifetime - a factual archive, not a judgement.
Accumulated knowledge across incarnations - the root of "natural talent."
The soul's contracts and intentions - a map, not a fixed fate.
The Council of Constantinople (553 CE) formally removed the doctrine of the soul's pre-existence from official Christian teaching - a doctrine taught by Origen of Alexandria, one of the most respected early Church fathers. The removal followed political pressure from Emperor Justinian, not theological consensus. A soul that already has direct access to its own divine record doesn't need an institution standing between it and truth.
The Language of Creation
Pythagoras (c. 570โ495 BCE) credited his number system to 22 years of study in Egyptian and Babylonian mystery schools. In ancient Egypt, numbers were treated as qualities of divine principle, not mere quantities.
"Number is the within of all things."
- Pythagoras, recorded by Aristotle, Metaphysics Book IThe Eternal Self
Dr. Ian Stevenson (University of Virginia, Dept. of Psychiatry) spent 40 years investigating children's reported past-life memories, documenting over 2,500 cases with specific, independently verified details - names, locations, causes of death - including matching birthmarks photographed and medically recorded.

Dr. Pim van Lommel, Dutch cardiologist, studied 344 cardiac arrest survivors over 13 years, published in The Lancet (2001). 18% reported NDEs - some with verified accurate perception of resuscitation while clinically flatlined, with no measurable brain activity.

The Suppressed Christian Tradition
Gnosis - Greek for direct, experiential knowledge - describes a broad early Christian and pre-Christian movement teaching that salvation comes through direct personal knowing of the divine, not institutional doctrine. This is one of the best-documented suppression cases in religious history - the texts, the council decisions, and the burial of the evidence are all independently verifiable.
In 1945, a sealed jar buried near Nag Hammadi, Egypt was found containing Gnostic texts - including the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Philip, and the Apocryphon of John. These had been hidden, almost certainly to survive Church destruction campaigns following the Council of Nicaea (325 CE) and subsequent heresy edicts.

"If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you."
- Gospel of Thomas, Saying 70Why it was buried: the pattern is identical to the Akashic suppression - a teaching of direct, unmediated divine access removes the need for priesthood and institutional control. Gnosticism wasn't destroyed because it was false. It was destroyed because it was organisationally inconvenient to the structure that replaced it.
Before Religion, Before Science
The Egyptian mystery schools, the Vedic rishis, the Hermetic tradition - these encoded consciousness research in myth, architecture, and sacred text millennia before modern physics arrived at similar conclusions independently.
"As above, so below; as below, so above; as within, so without; as without, so within."
- The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus"The All is Mind." Reality is a mental construct - echoed by the quantum observer effect.
"As above, so below." Cosmic and human scale mirror each other.
"Nothing rests." Matter and thought are both vibration at different frequencies.
"Everything has poles." Opposites are the same energy at different points on a spectrum.
"Everything flows, out and in." All things rise and fall in cycles.
"Every cause has its effect." Karma as mechanism, not punishment.
"Gender is in everything." Active and receptive principles in all creation.
The Seat of the Soul
The pineal gland contains photoreceptor cells nearly identical to the eye's retina, confirmed in Experimental Eye Research. It's the only unpaired structure in the brain, and it produces DMT - found endogenously in the human body and classified Schedule I.
Source: Strassman, R. (2001). DMT: The Spirit Molecule. Park Street Press - first FDA-approved US clinical DMT research, University of New Mexico.
Fluoride Calcification: The pineal lacks the blood-brain barrier and accumulates more fluoride than any soft tissue in the body. Confirmed by Jennifer Luke's research at the University of Surrey, published in Caries Research (2001). Several countries discontinued water fluoridation after reviewing neurological evidence.
Doing The Work
10 minutes daily, same time, no exceptions. Sit straight, eyes closed, follow the breath. When the mind wanders, return without judgement. That's the whole practice for the first 30 days.
Once stillness feels natural, move awareness slowly from feet to crown, noticing tension and breathing into it.
Watch thoughts pass without grabbing them. You are what watches - not the thought itself.
No phone, no music. Most people avoid this. The discomfort itself is worth sitting with.
Robert Monroe (1915โ1995), a broadcasting executive who began involuntarily experiencing out-of-body states in 1958, founded the Monroe Institute and developed the Hemi-Sync technique - using differing tones in each ear to synchronise brain hemispheres into states conducive to OBE. The US Army's own declassified 1983 report (covered in the CIA section below) confirms military personnel were sent there for training.

Whether consciousness genuinely separates from the body during these states, versus the experience being entirely internally generated by the brain, remains scientifically unresolved. Both the Monroe Institute's techniques and the experiences they produce are real and documented. What's actually happening during them is a belief claim, not a settled fact.
Lie down at a time you're genuinely tired but not exhausted. Relax the body fully while keeping the mind one notch above falling asleep - the hypnagogic border.
Focus attention on the space just above your physical body. Many practitioners report a buzzing or vibration sensation here as the first sign of separation beginning.
Imagine rolling sideways out of your body, or floating straight up, rather than trying to force movement. Forcing tends to snap you back.
Fear is the most common reason people return immediately. Calm curiosity sustains the state longer than excitement or panic.
Stand outside in the first 30 minutes after sunrise, eyes closed, facing the sun. Feel the warmth - don't stare directly at it, even at low intensity. Bare feet on grass or earth if possible. 10โ15 minutes. This is grounding plus light exposure to the retinohypothalamic tract, which connects directly to circadian and pineal function - a real, physiologically supported practice, not a fringe claim.
Belief Systems, Clearly Labeled
The number 144,000 appears in the Book of Revelation (7:4, 14:1โ3), describing a specific number "sealed" from the twelve tribes of Israel. Interpretations vary enormously: literal Jehovah's Witness doctrine treats it as a fixed number of believers who reach heaven; other Christian traditions treat it symbolically (12ร12ร1000 - representing completeness, not a literal headcount); New Age frameworks have repurposed it to mean a specific number of "awakened" souls incarnating to anchor a consciousness shift. There is no archaeological, historical, or scientific way to verify any of these readings against the others. It's a scriptural number that different belief systems have built different stories on top of.
What's actually confirmed: the US Director of National Intelligence released an official UAP report in 2021 acknowledging aerial phenomena that current aircraft technology doesn't explain. That report does not identify what these phenomena are.
Belief claim - not government or scientific conclusion: some spiritual and religious frameworks interpret UAP phenomena as deceptive spiritual entities (some traditions label these "demonic") rather than physical extraterrestrial craft - based on the reasoning that genuinely benevolent contact would not require concealment or produce the fear responses some encounters report. Other frameworks read the same phenomena as physical visitors, interdimensional craft, or secret human technology. No framework here has been confirmed over the others. The honest position: official sources confirm something unexplained is being observed. What it is remains genuinely unknown, and any confident claim beyond that - including the demonic-deception framework - is belief, not verified information.
Covered earlier with its textual source - the claim that we're exiting Kali Yuga into a more spiritually aware age is a real, ancient belief framework with textual roots. It is not a scientifically measurable prediction, and different Vedic scholars disagree on the exact timing - some place the transition centuries in the future, others argue it began centuries ago.
Government Suppressed - Then Confirmed
23 years, multiple agencies, research at Stanford Research Institute under physicists Russell Targ and Harold Puthoff. Operationally used to attempt locating hostages and describing Soviet installations.
Lt. Col. Wayne McDonnell's 29-page technical analysis of the Monroe Institute's OBE program, referencing Pribram's holographic brain theory and Bohm's implicate order.
150 subprojects across 80 institutions, confirmed by CIA Director Stansfield Turner in 1977 Senate testimony following FOIA-uncovered documents.
Subjects attempted to influence Random Event Generators with intention alone across millions of trials. Statistically significant deviation: less than one in a billion by chance.
The official narrative says consciousness is brain activity and nothing more. The actual behaviour of intelligence agencies - 23 years and millions of dollars studying consciousness phenomena - tells a different story. The suppression isn't proof the phenomena are fake. It's evidence of who controls the narrative around them, and why direct, unmediated access to non-physical reality is inconvenient to that control.
